I’m Jason and I was born and raised in Manila. I started writing professionally at age 19, when my byline first appeared in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. I then became one of its student correspondents, and my assignments included being a gasoline boy and a T.G.I. Friday’s waiter for a day. The worst question I asked during an interview was, “Who do you love more: your horse or your husband?”
Five years later, in 2004, I entered the corporate world as copy editor for an electronics trade magazine. At present, I’m an Intranet content manager by day and a contributing lifestyle journalist in my spare time. Aside from Inquirer, my work has appeared in SilkWinds (Singapore), Aspire (Hong Kong), and InterAKTV.
I mainly blog about food, movies, and occasionally, current events.
